I'm looking for a free or cheap software that works like Network Magic. I like the GUI of NM, and would like something I can use on my LAN. Would like something that I have some control of if possible.
I have a somewhat complicated LAN with several routers, and switches, as well as computers and printers. I would like a network mapper that I can use to troubleshoot when issues arise. Almost too good, it has so many features that I am having a hard time getting it set to work on my LAN. It seems that it is more directed to a business environment than a home LAN.
